Hills Surgical Oncology is led by Dr Muzib Abdul-Razak, a caring and experienced Head and Neck Surgeon and Surgical Oncologist who consilts in located in Norwest and Wahroonga.
He is dually trained in managing head and neck conditions (thyroid, parathyroid, salivary gland disorders, and head and neck cancers), skin cancers, and soft tissue tumours in various locations. He works in a multidisciplinary tumour board environment that includes medical and radiation oncologists to acheive the best oncological outcomes for patients.
Dr Muzib Abdul-Razak is a leading Head and Neck Surgeon and Surgical Oncologist in Sydney, who is currently a Consultant in the Department of Head & Neck Surgery and Surgical Oncology at Westmead Hospital. He specialises in head and neck oncologic resections, soft tissue tumours including sarcomas, advanced skin cancers involving lymph node dissections, and melanoma (including sentinel lymph node biopsies). He also performs thyroid and parathyroid surgeries and salivary gland procedures.
In addition to his clinical caseload, Dr Muzib Abdul-Razak is also a regular lecturer at The University of Sydney, where he passes on his knowledge to the next generation of aspiring surgeons. He is an active member of the Australia & New Zealand Head and Neck Cancer Society and the Australasian Sarcoma Study Group, and is currently completing his PhD from Sydney University where he leads the clinical trial "Evaluation of Sentinel Lymph Node biopsy in Oral Cavity Carcinoma" at Westmead Hospital.
